He was born in Mokeri village in Thalassery, Kannur district. Father: KV Achuthan. Mother: KP Devootty. Retired from the Health Department as Health Inspector.He is a member of the Library Council, the Progressive Art Literary Society, and the IV Das Library & Study and Research Center. Works with amateur theater. He has won various awards for Drama Direction and Short Story Writing.
